So long activity mat...it's been fun

We are officially done with the activity play mat! I have washed it for the hundreth time and put it up! Onto quilt time (with a thick blanket underneath) for Riley to roll around on crawl on. Yes, you read that right. Riley has started to MOVE! I didn't notice it much at first (even though I should have). Back in our play mat days (approx 5 days ago!), I would leave the room for a few minutes and she would be off the mat completely. This should have told me that she was starting to get around, but it didn't! I apparently was too busy cleaning up, doing laundry, and working part-time! Yikes! In fact, I probably still wouldn't have noticed it unless some sweet friends pointed it out. We put a waterbottle in front of her and she started moving toward it. I was more surprised that anyone about that! You'll see in the video. She is definitely not making any quick crawling motions but she is doing an army crawl. I'm one proud momma. Don't worry Ben is already trying to get her to stand up and start cruising. Would I kid about that??? He has been wanting her to crawl for months (if not years)! :)
