1. brushing her long flowing hair right after the bath. Well, it's not flowing yet but it certainly is long!

3. chubby chubby cheeks!
4. her cankles
5. her laughter
6. how she smiles and her eyes just light up when I walk into the room
7. waking her up in the morning and having her look up and smile
8. the way she gives lots of super sweet open mouth kisses on my cheek
9. when she is playing by herself but I walk by, she gives me a big smile like she is so proud of herself!
10. tickling her underarms and thighs and hearing her laughter!
Can't believe Riley Grace is already 5 months old.
- This month we have introduced the exersaucer and she loves it. I love it also! It helps with her standing up and she can play in there for a good 30 mins if I need her to! That's alot of time in my little world! :) Oh how my life has changed in these past 5 months!
- My sister gave us a mini-boppy for Christmas and we have started working on sitting up. As I have noted before, she has a Solomon-sized head! If she starts looking down, the next thing you know she is facedown on her feet! So you have to constantly call her name and if she looks up, then she can sit up for a little bit! Those Solomons!!! I've heard people say the bigger the head the bigger the brain!!
- She started sleeping on her stomach and looks oh so comfortable in her crib!
- Freely rolls around on the ground but only when she is in the mood. One day she might roll 20 times and the next only once. Which is why my mom who babysits alot has never seen her roll over but Ben's mom has watched Riley roll over on skype!!!
- She now fits in the Johnny Jump Up but has not figured out the bouncy part of it. She does however relax and swing around while we play the piano and it is very cute!
- Since we got her feeding schedule figured out, she is just sleeping away at night. She has consistently been sleeping for 11 to 12 hours a night! Woohoo!! Naps are still all over the place but I do appreciate a good night's sleep!
- She has started hanging out in her high chair some to get ready for rice cereal in a few weeks. We start that a 5 1/2 months and then solids at 6 months! Wish us luck!!
One of my newest favorite pictures of Riley!!

The well-garbed girl, it seems!! I think in this posting there are 6 different outfits, though I admit a fondness for the last one.
