It's all about Izzy!

So Izzy has her good and bad days, just like we all do. Well, yesterday was one of her BAD days. I left to run errands for about 2 hours and came home and saw some diaper bag items across the floor. To answer yours and Ben's question, I didn't take the diaper bag because it was just errands and I had a diaper with me!

So I am walking around the house and I wonder why Izzy has not come up to greet me like usual. She is sitting on her bed in front of the bay window. I think this is strange but rush Riley to bed anyway for a much needed nap (don't get me started on that girl's naps!). Once I am done with that, I come out give Izzy some quality time! It is only then that I see that there are a thousand little neon green pieces of plastic on her bed. She had gone into the diaper bag (problem #1), demolished the plastic formula holder (problem #2), and then went ahead and ate about 8 oz worth of powder formula that was in the container (problem #3). So this dog (or as I now call her -- this dirty, old dog) not only ate plastic but she also ate powder formula. I instinctevly went to see if she still had water left in her bowl (as if she would care to mix the two before consuming)! :)

I think Izzy is getting confused now that Riley's toys are laying about the house. If I do not immediately pick them up after Riley is done playing on the floor, then Izzy considers them hers. I can't blame her though. Up until this point, any toy on the ground was far game for her to play with and chew on. Now these other tasty plastic toys are showing up on the ground and she just can't seem to contain herself especially since they have yummy Riley drool all over them! :)

What looks out of place in this picture? This was toy #1 that was demolished by Izzy (sorry Whitney)! I think Izzy like rattles...The toy is intact in this picture. The problem was that I forgot to pick up the toy after the picture and there Izzy claimed immediate ownership of it! Let's just say that this toy no longer plays tunes anymore.

The girls hanging out on the quilt that is now a permanent fixture in our living room floor! Once again, if I am not quick to fold this up, Izzy will make this her next nap spot! I really can't blame her. That thing is comfortable!
 So cute!

This afternoon when I was feeding Riley a bottle of formula, Riley just closed her eyes and let Izzy's hair rub all over her face. Good thing Riley is laid back!
Izzy is thinking - "man, I wish momma would feed me some of that delicious milk. It probably tastes alot better as liquid than as powder!"
