Caden is 3 months old

Lots of changes have happened this month and we are loving every minute of wake-time this boy has!

He has started smiling and his gorgeous blue eyes light up his face! He melts my heart each time. Ben keeps trying to get me to be productive during his oh-so-short wake-times and I just can't! I will do overtime when he is sleeping but I just want to catch all the smiles and coos that I can.

He is sleeping through the night! I do a late night feeding around 10 or 11 and then he goes until 6am (on most nights). My milk seems to keep him satisfied through the night even though he is a chunk! I am also super focused on eating enough calories (also known as pigging out) and thinking as little as possible as I can about my non-existent waistline!

He went on his first road trip to Tomball for Thanksgiving and then again for Christmas. The carseat just puts him to sleep. We had zero tears from him (you may infer that there were tears from our other child during these road trips)! :)

He is able to put himself to sleep for naps during the day! We do about an hour of waketime after each feeding and then when he starts to whine a little, I pop a paci in, swaddle him up tight, and then put him in his crib and he is out! A few times I thought the 45 minute intruder was knocking at our door but thankfully it doesn't seem to happen very often.

He is still on reflux medicine but only the antacid. I weaned him off the prescription meds and it really didn't make a difference.

One change that Caden didn't make this month...he is still storing food for the winter in those awesome cheeks of his! If only I could count the countless number of times I kiss those cheeks every day!
