The past few days have been snow days here. One thing I love about our house is that we have a hill in our front yard that the neighborhood kids love to sled down. In fact, we just leave the sled outside and they can use it however much they want! The past few days, the sled has been in high demand and I love looking out the window seeing the kids use it. Wait a minute...that isn't a kid, that's Ben! Who says sledding is only for kids anyway?
Please notice how interested Izzy is in the sled. A year or two ago, we trekked up to the library which has a steeper hill and went sledding. There were tons of kids there. Izzy would chase the sleds all the way down the hill and the kids on the sled would just look at her the whole time. It was so fun. Izzy also believes that snowballs are made just for her! Whenever anyone throws a snowball, she fetches it and then eats it. This snowball theory works fine when we are in our front yard but when there is a huge snowball fight, she is running around like a crazy dog just trying to keep up!
