Johnny Jump Up

So I am becoming convinced that most of Ben's infant-hood was spent in a Johnny Jump Up! So Jean (Ben's mom) bought us one. I was excited about it but not nearly as excited as Ben. So Ben broke it out of the box and has already set it up. Who cares that the box says it is for ages 4 months and up? As he was putting Riley in it, I read the instructions and it said to not use if the top of the seat is above the infant's arms. Well, on Riley the top of the seat is above her chin. I mentioned this to Ben and he didn't seem to think that it was a problem because it didn't mention anything about the baby's chin. How can you argue with that logic?? It was very cute to watch Ben's face as he put Riley in it for the first time. Here is to many more pictures of her in the Johnny Jump Up.  The three of us have become known as "the girls" and they tend to go everywhere with me. Riley because I would be a bad parent if I left her at home by herself and Izzy because she is the best dog ever!

 Here is Riley with her friend Brendan who was born one day ahead of her! Look at the size difference. I didn't even pose them! They are destined to become best friends!

 I thought this would be one of the last times that Riley would be wearing this newborn outfit, so I had to snap a shot of the bottom. So cute!

Ben is trying help Riley learn to stand on her skinny little legs. Please notice the look of terror. Something tells me we are trying this a tad bit early. And yes, my husband does take showers but he had just come in from staining our wood deck!
