Don't cry over spilled milk!

As Ben and I were driving home from church this Sunday, Ben said "well, don't cry over spilled milk". I had heard that saying before, but just since Riley has been born have I come to question the validity of that saying. Let me explain...

A few weeks ago, Riley woke up around 4am and after nursing her, I went ahead and pumped. As I was pouring the milk into a bag to freeze, over half of it spilled! I was so mad/frustrated about losing that milk that it kept me up until 6am when Ben woke up. So whoever came up with that saying could NOT have possibly woken up at 4am, nursed a 2 month old baby, pumped, and then spilled the milk! Enough said!!

On a side note: the saying that "breast milk is liquid gold" is entirely true!
