A few weeks before the reunion, Whitney said she had been thinking about something and needed to ask me a question. She asked me "Lauren, I can't really remember who you were friends with in high school." I thought about it and said "me neither"! Then my mom also jumped in and said she couldn't think of anyone either. What is family for anyway? :) I really thought that I wasn't a loser in high school but I just might have been. At least I didn't think I was one at the time.
I have also decided that not much has changed since high school. Back then my mom was lovingly concerned about my fashion sense and she still is! I didn't know what I was going to wear so we went shopping the afternoon of the reunion to find something. Isn't that what mom's are for?
Here is a picture of us after the reunion. This was taken around 11:00pm because I realized I didn't have any pictures of the two of us. Just take a gander at Ben's face. Doesn't he just look exhausted? It must be hard to be the trophy husband! :)
These pictures document that I at least had SOME friends in high school and was not a total loner!
It was great to see high school peeps and makes me thankful for memories and rekindled friendships. Apparently lots of grads live in the Dallas area. Here's to RHS!
