The Nursery

Several of you have requested pictures of the nursery. So I thought that maybe, just maybe, before I give birth to baby girl, I should A) actually get the nursery ready and B) take the "before" pictures! We just put the finishing touches on the nursery. In the past two days, we have built the closet organization system, put together the dresser, made curtains, put together the diaper genie, and my sweet mom washed all the sheets and clothes! I mean, why rush into these things? It's not like we are giving birth to her TOMORROW or anything!

The sweet crib with Ben's super cute bedding! Oh yes, and we plan to put her name in letters up on the wall but well...once we figure out what her name is.

So before this past weekend, this closet only had a shelf up high and a clothes rod. Ben designed and built this whole closet system. You should be super impressed, I know I am! 

Ben's mom, Jean, came in town and she made this curtain to cover the closet. We found a cute polka dot pattern. The closet used to have the mirror doors which we did NOT like. 

Ben was just trying to help me out by doing the laundry and look at what happened! Can you really blame him? I keep telling him to put clothes in the dryer on low heat but he never seems to listen.

I thought it would be good for a laugh to put on a non-maternity top. I'm already wishing that I hadn't...

Baby girl is still breech and we are set for a c-section around 10am tomorrow. Please be praying for us and a healthy baby girl!
