The other day during bath time, I was singing Mulan and said the line "defeat the Huns" and she looked at me and stuck her foot in my face. Riley said "momma, de FEET"! Oh dear, she even has Ben's sense of humor.
She routinely cracks us up with her little side remarks. Case in point, when she toots we are trying to get her to say "excuse me". So what does she end up saying "my bottom says excuse me!"
She put a headband on Caden and then told him, "don't you ever ever take that off or I will have to spank your bottom!" Hmm, not quite the sweet, gentle spirit that we are working on.
Reading to baby Caden (not to be confused with real Caden).
She loves all of her princess dresses!
Out little monkey!
Riley, I can't believe you are almost 3! You bring a smile to my face every day. When God created you, he gave you a joyful spirit. You love to make Caden laugh. You are learning how to be brave and face scary situations (which currently include the pool and crowds). I love having "school" with you every day at home and see your little brain work to learn your letters and numbers. What a blessing this year has been.
