Be still my heart

After church today, Riley decided it was the perfect time to tell me a story. She first politely but firmly told me to "zip my lips" (hand motion and all). Then she told me that God loves her and me so much. She preceded to tell me about how it was Monday and Tuesday but how there is also a Saturday. Then she reemphasized how "God loves her heart."  Oh how I pray that she would learn that lesson from an early age! She finished with prayer time. This was her prayer. "Dear God, please be with all these boys and girls. Amen."

I told her I would always treasure that moment and she could tell me stories anytime she wants! What a sweet moment in the midst of a crazy season of our lives!
