This morning, I jumped into the shower for only a few moments. I kept hearing the pitter-patter of Riley's feet so I knew she was up to something. Normally she likes to stay in the bathroom and pester me by opening up the curtain the whole time! I had no idea what to expect. Here is what I saw. Riley had been giving Izzy treats one by one and Izzy was just as happy as can be and devouring them like it was a free-for-all. Who wouldn't love a sister that snuck her treats while momma wasn't looking?
Riley hasn't been much of a stuffed animals type of gal but lately she has taken to playing with Pooh Bear and Tigger as we read along with Winnie the Pooh books. About two weeks ago, she started sleeping with a little bear (along with her beloved lovie). Imagine our surprise tonight when we said it was time to go to bed and she insisted on taking Pooh, Baby Bella, and Bunny to bed with her! When I grabbed my camera to take a pic, she immediately started saying "cheese"!
Two weeks ago, I came down with a virus that was quite nasty. In order to spare you the details, I will just say that lots of time was spent on the couch. One evening in particular I was feeling puny and Riley pushed a chair up to her high chair, climbed up, sat in her high chair, and started saying and signing "eat"!!! Riley, I get the hint! You are direct, just like your daddy.
