Blocks and more!

We had our first block casualty last week. Riley has a great set of blocks which she enjoys stacking... but what she loves even more is to SIT on the blocks... and her favorite pastime is to STAND on the block to get up on the couch. Have I mentioned she is a determined little girl? Well, the other night while standing on aforementioned cardboard block we had a casualty and said good bye to our first (of many) blocks.

We just got Riley a new pair of spiffy hot pink shoes. As I was putting the shoes on Riley, I was explaining to Ben to make sure he tucks in the tongue (of the shoe) on both sides. Next thing I know, Riley is sticking her tongue out and trying to lick various inanimate objects! She definitely has Ben's sense of humor!

Who needs a spoon when you have a really cool stick to pick up your applesauce??

Does this outfit remind anyone else of The Christmas Story where the boy gets a fluffy rabbit outfit for a gift?

Just eating some spaghetti...what's the big deal anyway? On a side note, when Riley is eating every once in a while she will have absolutely nothing on her spoon and still say "mmmmm"! I guess I do that and it has rubbed off on her. On another side note, her beloved Minnie Mouse shirt survived the incident and is not stain-free (well stain-free enough to still wear in public)! Man she loves all things Minnie and has started to say things along with the show like Pluto, Mickey, Daisy, Oh Tooh (for Oh Toodles). So sweet!
