Lovie

Just a typical pose right before bedtime, laying with lovie on the floor and three fingers (always the right hand) in her mouth. They say babies crave routines and this girl thrives on one. Right before bedtime, I put her lovie on my shoulder. Instantaneously, her fingers are inserted into mouth. Pavlov, anyone?

At one point in college, I went for this Meg Ryan hairstyle. Riley clarly pulls the "messy" look off better than I ever could.

Riley likes playing peek-a-boo with her lovie. However, we insist she sits down for this. A month or so ago, she had lovie over her eyes and went full speed ahead directly into a bookshelf on which she hit and then fell back and hit her head on the ground! For those of you with no kids, I would have also gasped at that. But now I know, they do bounce!! :)
