She is standing for longer periods of time but still has only taken about 20 steps total so far in her life! She now weighs 22 pounds! I mostly feed her all finger foods now. We also transitioned to sippy cups and whole milk. She decided she was done with the bottle and formula at the same time. We also did away with the night time bottle. I was very hesitant to do this because I didn't want to mess up her 12+ hours of sleep at night but it didn't matter at all. She still sleeps like a champ at night probably because she eats so much each meal! I'm not complaining...I would much rather prefer a chunky happy baby than a skinny crying baby (see also our 4 month appointment post).
Here is our typical schedule.
Wake up around 7:30 to 8. Breakfast and then play time (normally when I go on walks with her). Nap at 10 for about an hour and a half. Lunch at noon. Nap at 2:30 for an hour and a half. Dinner at 6. Bedtime at 7.
Riley has a few words under her belt like mama, dada, nana, lala. She also has mastered the "all done" sign which is pretty incredible since I was so very inconsistent with showing her this sign!
Riley happily eating her meal...
Or so I thought. Here is where the other half of her meal went.
The other day at Lolly's house we were all helping Livy Anne with her pre-potty training camp! When LA would say she needed to potty, we all would ask her "is it a pretend potty or real potty?" If a "real potty", Whitney would rush LA to the potty and then we would begin to wait.
Here are some new Crocs! But Crocs taste so good, Momma!
Look at goofy little Riley. Precious!

This is SO hilarious; the lap full of food is too funny!
