Both Sides?

Riley is now 6 weeks old and keeps us laughing with all of her goofy faces and noises. Ben thinks she may have some cheerleader in her since she keeps throwing her arms up above her head! The pediatrician said that during her second month we should start seeing her smile while she is awake. We haven't seen it yet but I can't wait for that moment! We are trying to be good about tummy time and most of the time she likes it. She has started to lift up her head and turn it from side to side.

Her stats from her 1 month appointment:
She now weighs 8 pounds and is in the 25th percentile.
For her length she is in the 50th percentile.
For her head size she is in the 75th percentile. Those Solomons and their big heads!

Just in the past few days has she started to outgrow the newborn size outfits. She is already growing up on me...

Some funny moments:

This is the conversation that occured when Ben was sitting down with Riley to give her a bottle.
Ben - So do I need to do both sides?
Me - What sides are you talking about?
Ben - I'm not sure but it made sense in my head.

Riley Grace during her bath time. She is so precious!

Hey, wait a minute. How did that arm get out of the swaddle??

After her bath, her hair gets a little crazy. Plus, she kind of looks like an alien with those big bug eyes!

A cute outfit that I couldn't help but take pictures of her in. She still has some time before it will actually fit her!

Riley and her Nana (Ben's Mom) in matching attire.

It looks like Riley is giving us the peace sign!

Riley doing some stretches which normally last at least 5 minutes after you wake her up. Plus, Izzy is looking in on her to make sure she is okay. Izzy has started doing the oddest things lately. For example, the other day I took Riley to the doctor and had to leave Izzy at home. Since it was a quick trip, I didn't take the diaper bag...big mistake. I come home and every single item in the diaper bag has been taken out and strewn across the house. Another example, before Ben came home from work today I made sure the entire house was clean and tidy. I hear Ben come in the door and say "what the heck happened in here"? Me - "I cleaned the house for you." I walk out into the living room and all the dirty baby clothes/blankets/burp rags that were stacked on a chair waiting to be put in Riley's room once she woke up from her nap, are strewn across the living room. I mean, I just cleaned that room 10 minutes before. Has ANYONE ever had this happen to them?

Some cuddle time with her daddy.

Here are some of those cheerleader arms/dance moves coming on!

We are loving every minute with her!
