Lately Riley has figured out that it is more efficient to string all her words together in one phrase instead of trying to figure out which one to use. Her new phrase is "help, all done, please" but it sounds more like "ep, ah done, PEEESE". I am working on getting her to put two words together. Last week she said "help please" and I was so proud. Then a few days ago, I reminded her to say "help please" when she needs something and she would say "help" but not "please"! When I kept asking her to say it, she would say "help" a long pause and then "help, all done, please"!!
We have started working on the first few letters of the alphabet. I will say "a" and then Riley is supposed to say say "a". We have done this a few times successfully but I guess she thinks I am going too slow because lately, after I say "a" she says "b" and then continues on with "c" and "d"! She must take after her momma and not have much in the patience department.
Weary?

And all this time I thought efficiency was something toward which I should work; hmmmm, maybe this is an assumption to be reconsidered!
